Big Fluffy Cloud is inspired by those big fluffy clouds drifting aimlessly across the sky.  Generally when I go to the beach I am always very watchful of clouds and is the rain coming, but big fluffy clouds are dreamy!  Feel the summer vibes with this fun, full of texture big fluffy cloud kit.

This kit uses the 5mm Lavor Adjustable Punch Needle, to create loads of texture.  The big fluffy cloud is created using the highest needle setting, but not only that you will use the pinch and pull method to create bigger loops to give an even more fluffy textured cloud.  The sea and sky yarns are hand dyed by me in small batches and as the sea constantly changes, the colours of the sea may too depending on my consistency with the dye pots!

The sea uses different height settings on the adjustable punch needle to create the ripple affect of the waves.  The sky and sand are punched using a method called the reverse punch, which is showing the flat side of the stitches, this accentuates the big fluffy cloud even more. The kit is then completed with an optional whipped edge (rug making technique).

The monks cloth is securely attached to the hoop, which is single use and part of the finished product.  All you have to do is sit down, relax and punch your very own big fluffy cloud.
