My Aunt and I designed this is unique relaxing, restorative workshop promoting vitality, joy and wellbeing, we will introduce colourful punch needle crafting, colour therapy, crystals, chakra balancing and much more.
Punch needle is a traditional craft around since the 1800s, and today while punch needle is a wonderful craft to digitally disconnect, switch off, and relax from a busy and stressful life style it also has many functional applications such as creating your own purses, cushions and rugs. It takes you out of your head and relieves stress and anxiety one stitch at a time!
This is the perfect workshop for beginners and those who wish to explore colour and discover the wonderful combination of colour energy and crafting.

About your instructors?
Michelle O Driscoll is a wild wool punch needle instructor bringing traditional craft into modern life. She is a busy farmer, wife, mother and businesswoman who knows the value of bringing a moment of pause and joy into the everyday. She works with sustainable products and is inspired by nature and the land. She is passionate about sharing the joy of punch needle rug hooking. In 2018 she trained with Amy Oxford to become Irelands’ first Certified Oxford Instructor, in 2022 she went back to America to train with Amy Oxford and Heidi Whipple to become an Advanced Instructor, so she can train other people to become Oxford Punch Needle Instructors, which she hopes to offer in late 2023. Ellen Waylett offers a blend of practical therapeutic help for a wide range of emotional issues and a more holistic energy based slant, both approaches allow choice and healing. She works both both in-person in Cork and via zoom to suit your location and time. Zoom has proven to be very effective and more comfortable especially for those with stress or anxiety challenges. Ellen’s long interest in mind body therapies goes back to the millennium when, as a hobby, she studied and qualified as a Crystal Healing Practitioner, this was her first introduction to the holistic world! Over the years, she has continued to grow the spiritual energy side alongside training in the UK as a Hypnotherapy Practitioner GHR GHSC CNHC Registered in the UK. She trained in spiritual work and tarot with the gifted Simon Goodfellow Psychic Medium and others in England. Ellen offers an integrative therapy solution incorporating Hypnotherapy, EFT, IEMT, Coaching and use therapy interventions, as appropriate, to bring about the goals, inner peace and positive mindset you desire and deserve.
Refunds / Cancellations:
Tickets for in person classes and workshops are non-refundable unless a notice of cancellation is emailed to hello@wildwoolway.com 72 hours before your class. We would appreciate as much notice as possible so we can try and fill your spot. Cancellations within 72hrs are eligible for a refund in the form of a gift certificate to be used towards a future class. Our workshops require a minimum number of participants to run, we will notify you 48hrs is advance of the workshop if enrolment does not reach this number. If we have to cancel you will be notified asap and a full refund will be offered or transfer your place to a different workshop of the same value.
